Add a custom header image to Blogger and create a URL link to it. Before adding the custom header, change the header properties in the code to allow the new header. The header image must be hosted on a different website, and the URL must be added to an HTML gadget.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Blogger Dashboard. Click the blue "Design" link under the blog name on the Dashboard. Click "Edit HTML" under the Design tab to go to the "Edit Template" page.

2. Scroll down in the code until you find this part of the HTML:

<div id='header-wrapper'> <b:section class='header' id='header' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='no'> <b:widget id='Header1' locked='true' title='Header (Header)' type='Header'/> </b:section> </div>

3. Change "showaddelement='no'" to "showaddelement='yes'" to add another element to the header section. Change the "locked='true'" to "locked='false.'" Click the "Save Template" button.

4. Click the "Page Elements" link under the Design tab to go to the "Add and Arrange Page Elements" page. Click "Add a Gadget."

5. Click the "+" sign next to "HTML/Javascript" to open the "Configure HTML/Javascript" box. Click the "Edit HTML" link.

6. Type the following coding: "<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/images/yourimage.jpg">." Replace "yoursite" with the name of the images site. Replace "yourimage" with the name of the image.

7. Add "<a href="http://www.yourlink.com"> and "</a>" tags around the "img src" file to make it a link. Click the "Save" button.

8. Click the "Edit" link in the "Header" section. Click the "Remove" button to remove the existing header. Click the "Save" button and select "View Blog" to view the blog.
